Ravi Salgia M.D., Ph.D., is a medical oncologist and the Arthur and Rosalie Kaplan Chair in Medical Oncology at City of Hope's comprehensive cancer center in Duarte. There, he leads over 100 medical oncology faculty as professor and chair of the Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research. As a cancer doctor, Dr. Salgia has expertise in treating lung cancer, mesothelioma, thymic malignancies, bronchial carcinoids and thoracic malignancies. Dr. Salgia serves on various panels for the National Cancer Institute, is on the local leadership board for American Lung Association, is the recipient of several honors and awards and is recognized on "Best Doctors" and "Top Doctors" lists. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
